Gaucho Imports

Gaucho Interior

A couple of weeks back we attended Gaucho Imports' Grand Opening just up the street from our Fab Lab.  The space itself is a sight to see.  An old warehouse on 1st Street, North of Mountain.  Its high celings and wide bays plays up the scale of its imports.  Huge doors from India resting against brick walls could have very well been a set from Raider's of the lost Ark.  Take into account that the Flamenco Institute was also performing and its percusive footwork bounced off every surface.

The basement will be a hi-tech wine cellar space with lockers up for rent to store/preserve private wine collections.  It will also have social spaces for wine enthusiasts to share their knowledge.

We hope to collaborate with Carlos and Gaucho imports in the near future as these doors/windows/columns will need to be replicated using our spanking new 3D scanner.

Best of all was to see how things are amping up in ABQ. Check out their website: 40blu.com/1512HTML
