New Studio A.D.
Melissa and Kurt from New Studio AD (an art and design studio) toured our lab last week to familiarize themselves with our art production capabilities. They left New Orleans due to health complications arising from the gulf oil spill and boy are we lucky they chose sunny and dry Albuquerque.
Not only will their live/work studio in Martineztown energize the Warehouse district, they are also hosting BECA's reception on September 3rd.
Paper Lampshade
Josh Binder creates paper sculptures using the open sources programs Blender and Inkscape. He has been cutting the printouts by hand and has upgraded to our laser. The laser's speed and precision makes the assembly process a whole lot easier. Josh's creativity and talent will be missed as he goes off to college soon. See you next summer!
